Following is a list showing the distribution of people in the Netherlands carrying the family name BODINGIUS according to the census of May 31, 1947 obtained from the "Nederlandse Familienamen Databank" of the Meertens Instituut.

Apparently no occurrences of the name BODDINGIUS were recorded. This is odd, given the fact that at least Pieter Marinus Boddingius was living with his wife in Rotterdam (ZH) at the time of the census and five children of Adriaan Boddingius and Pieternella Sterk were alive and living in various parts of the Netherlands at that time as well.
